Beautification of Bryan UPC

Wow! What an exciting weekend it was at Bryan UPC! We invested our time doing a good work for the Lord. We continued in our “Church Beautification” project, by replacing our carpet. The men got together after church Sunday morning to move the pews so the carpet could be replaced. As daunting as a task this seemed to be, with unity and a mind to work the process was accomplished.

“So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.” Nehemiah 4:6

In the word of God we see how when people become unified and have a mind to work much can be accomplished. Genesis chapter 11 is an example of how that when people come together, change can occur. As a church we were unified and in the beautification project. People worked tirelessly cleaning pews, fixing the sound system, vacuuming, re-sealing the windows, changing lights, cleaning tile, and a lot of other cleaning duties to help renovate the church. In the end we saw a finished product of what happens when people have a mind to work. We are not completely done with our beautification project, but we have come a long way and have seen a lot of good come from it and are very excited about the future.
